Hello, my name is Char Gengler. I am excited to be the new 2nd grade teacher at Abbot. I have been a teacher in the Ann Arbor Public Schools for 24 years. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. I live in Ann Arbor. I have 2 children of my own. My daughter is 22 years old and my son is 18 years old. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy exercising.
